The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Vickie Bites Jack’s Lure – Brash and Sassy In Danger

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) is enamored with Billy (Jason Thompson) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. So much so that she’s endorsed the acts of espionage he’s committing against Jabot. Now, the false information he downloaded will put Brash and Sassy in danger of bankruptcy.

Yes, the lure referenced in the headline was a wink at Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) fishing while at the Abbott cabin. But the expedition Jack has sent his brother and Vickie on is not one that’s intended to create relaxation. Instead, peril is the purpose.

Neil (Kristoff St. John) recently saved the day. He offered a bridge loan to Vickie so she could keep her company afloat. That decision also allowed Victor (Eric Braeden) to keep his hands out of her business. However, Vickie could ask the ‘Moustache’ for help if ‘Billy-boy’s’ scheme jeopardizes the future.

As Y&R fans recall, Jack ordered Ravi (Abhi Sinha) to thoroughly investigate the security breach that occurred at Jabot. He did so and unexpectedly found that Dina’s (Marla Adams) password was used on Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) laptop to access sensitive corporate files that were only open to Jack and Ashley (Eileen Davidson).

Unlike Ashley, who’s judgment where Dina and Phyllis is concerned remains tainted, Jack was able to quickly determine who the true culprit was. His seemingly often flummoxed little brother was the villain.

Vickie initially told Billy not to use Phyllis’ laptop to access additional Jabot information. But the younger Abbott brother is impulsive, so he did. The information he downloaded made it appear as though Jabot was going to cut investment in it’s men’s line.

Based on the faux facts Billy obtained, Brash and Sassy is now going to ramp up investment in its own men’s products. Jack’s plan to push his competitor to the financial ledge, if not over is working. Yes, Billy took the bait and Vickie bit.

Vickie and Billy are unknowingly endangering Brash and Sassy. Enough information has already been gathered to have Billy arrested. Yes, Jack’s plan is working.
