The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers Tuesday, December 26: Nikki Agrees To Marry Victor – Paul Shocked – Ashley Won’t Back Down

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, December 26, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will spar over all the Jabot drama. At the park, Billy tries to convince Jack that Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) right. Jack delivers some harsh blows about his brother’s past, so Billy suggests that John (Jerry Douglas) would hate to see this kind of behavior.

Ashley Tries To Get Traci On Her Side

Meanwhile, Ashley wants Traci (Beth Maitland) to take her side on this. Traci won’t budge since the family is already being torn apart. Ash calls Michael (Christian LeBlanc) for help, but he can’t get in the middle. It’d be a conflict of interest. Later, Dina’s (Marla Adams) confusion leads to some emotional moments for the Abbotts. She believes it’s Thanksgiving and mistakes Jack for John.

Ashley Vows Not To Back Down

Afterward, Jack tells Ashley that he’s just trying to fight for what he believes in. He’s doing what he feels is best for Jabot. Ashley thinks their father would be crushed by Jack’s latest move. Jack insists that using the amendment against Ashley wasn’t personal, but she promises she’s not backing down. Traci eventually catches up with Jack and encourages him to work things out with Ash.

Victor Suggest Nikki Marry Him Again

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) stuns Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with a suggestion. He thinks they should get married again on New Year’s Eve. Nikki quickly gets on board since it’ll make their reunion claims more believable. They begin planning the ceremony and talk about who they’ll invite.

Nick Wants An Invitation From Victor

At the penthouse, Nick (Joshua Morrow) gets agitated over Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) news. She explains that J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) covered for Nikki, but Victor still deceived her. They argue about Victor’s guilt and motives. Once Victoria’s gone, Nikki pops in with vow renewal updates. Nick’s appalled but agrees to come if Victor himself delivers an invitation.

Paul Is Shocked

At the coffeehouse, Paul (Doug Davidson) doesn’t believe Nikki really wants to renew her vows with Victor. He tells Nikki that he’s not giving up on his investigation. Paul contends that he can’t protect Nikki from charges if something illegal turns up.

Victoria and Abby Shocked

Victoria and Abby (Melissa Ordway) hear about the New Year’s Eve event from Victor. They’re both taken aback, but Abby seems happy for them. Victoria, on the other hand, curbs her enthusiasm. She tracks down Nikki and asks if she can actually say her vows with a straight face. Nikki implies that she’s not sure, so they’ll just have to see how it turns out.

Back at the penthouse, Victor drops by and admits he doesn’t want Nick at his vow renewal ceremony. However, he believes it would mean a lot to Nikki as well as Nick’s siblings. Nick is OK with attending for his mom’s sake.
