The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers Thursday October 5: Victoria Explodes – Lily’s Big Offer – Billy’s Invitation – Cane and Juliet Bond

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, October 5, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will receive a great honor. At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) informs Ashley that she’s the Innovator of the Year. Since John (Jerry Douglas) once got this award, it means a lot to Ash. Jack wants to have a big bash to celebrate the achievement.

When Ashley insists on inviting Billy (Jason Thompson), Jack says she should do it herself. Ashley is willing to fish for info while she’s at Brash and Sassy. Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy discuss how hard it is to find good help. They feel like Jack has scooped up everyone qualified to fill Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) position.

At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) fills Neil (Kristoff St. John) in on her decision to file for divorce. They talk about the twins and how Lily intends to throw herself into her work. Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) name comes up and Lily confesses that he’s been very supportive.

At the athletic club, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is annoyed by Cane’s lack of action. She pushes him to win Lily back, but he notes that she’s only worried about Jordan. After a brief run-in with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Juliet heads to her suite. Cane arrives and learns Juliet is already in the loop on the divorce. Juliet says Hilary wants her to leave town, but Cane takes her hand and urges her to stay.

In Graham’s (Max Shippee) room, he speaks with Myrna (Marcia Rodd) over the phone. She gripes about Brent bailing on their family to be with Dina (Marla Adams). Graham offers a hint of sympathy for Ashley. He suggests it must have been tough for her to learn she wasn’t John’s biological daughter.

Myrna argues that Graham should stick to the plan of turning Dina’s children against her. She feels they’re close to making Dina pay. At Jabot, Dina shows up and tries to make peace with Jack. They discuss Ashley’s award and how John won it as well.

At Brash and Sassy, Ashley updates Billy and invites him to the party. He agrees to come, but notes that work’s about to get crazy. In Victoria’s office, Neil talks to her about finding more work for Lily. Victoria has an idea and Billy eventually gets on board. Later, Lily accepts Cane’s old position.

Back at Jabot, Ashley tells Jack that Billy indeed took his bait. Jack is ready for his brother to fail, but Ash wonders if Victoria will really support Billy’s plan. Dina returns to Graham and seems hopeful about making amends with her kids. Graham brings up Dina’s affair again, but she shuts down the conversation.

Hilary bumps into Jordan and revs up her seduction tactics. She thinks it’s ridiculous for him to wait around on Lily. Later, Hilary and Victoria get into a heated argument. Despite Hilary’s attempt to apologize, Victoria thinks the gossip queen’s still out to get her.

Hilary fires back when Victoria spouts accusations. As Victoria’s ears ring, she finally explodes. Victoria roars at Hilary to stop, which catches her enemy off guard. Jordan shows up in time to catch the end of Victoria’s meltdown. She walks off and grips her head in pain.
