“The Young and Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 21, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will continue to be irked about her situation. At the ranch, Nikki gripes to Victor (Eric Braeden) about the press release. It makes them look like a happy couple with second honeymoon plans. However, Nikki accepts this for what it is and suggests it’s time to fill their kids in.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are stunned when they hear the news. They can’t wrap their heads around Nikki’s sudden decision. Nick (Joshua Morrow) thinks there’s more to the story. He confronts Nikki about her deception and she confesses that she reunited with Victor to stay out of prison. Nevertheless, Nikki’s pleased that she was able to steal Victor’s money for the park.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gets a chuckle out of Scott (Daniel Scott) and her mom. She’s wearing a silly snowman costume for a holiday-themed show. In a moment alone, Scott contends that he could get Mariah a better job if she’d quit working for Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Mariah snaps that Scott just wants to buy her silence.
Scott and Mariah cover when Sharon catches them talking. Afterward, Mariah finds Abby (Melissa Ordway) at the athletic club. She notes that Abby has a history of being the other woman. Mariah warns that Abby should think twice about getting too close to Scott, but Abby is unfazed. She implies that Mariah doesn’t want to make an enemy of out her.
Later, Sharon and Scott make their way over to the club. They watch as Abby causes a scene near the bar. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) greets Abby and wants to hang out at some of the town’s hotspots, but Abby won’t date a married man. She chews J.T. out and storms off. As she hits the exit, Abby informs Victoria that her ex just made a move on her.
Victoria seeks clarification from J.T., so he opens up about the problems in his marriage. He’s currently separated from Mac (Clementine Ford) and out of a job. J.T.’s planning on leaving tomorrow, but Victoria wants him to stay and spend Christmas in Genoa City. She mentions that it’d give J.T. more time with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu).
Thursday’s “Young and the Restless” episode also brings a major revelation for Nikki. Victoria updates her on J.T.’s coverup and how Victor knew Nikki was in the clear. Nikki’s furious, but tells Victor she won’t back out of their deal. They both have dirt on each other, so they intend to stay tight-lipped and keep their arrangement.
At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) impresses Nick with her holiday lingerie. She manages to get his mind off Victor and Nikki’s drama. Back at Sharon’s house, she suggests that something seems to be up with Abby. Scott looks uncomfortable as Sharon shares her suspicions.
