It’s only about a week until Thanksgiving on ‘The Young and the Restless’. While many character’s lives are in turmoil, some will be able to count their blessings by the time Genoa City residents are eating turkey with family and friends next Thursday.

Billy (Jason Thompson) should be thankful that Vickie (Amelia Heinle) fired him. He loves Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and ‘Philly’ has a real chance at surviving if each half maintains balance. Billy should also be glad that Phyllis cares about him enough to play out that ruse with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). That scene reinforced Phyllis’ feelings and therefore this pairing.
Jack (Peter Bergman) finally came around, due to The Underground fire. He said that it will take him awhile, but he’s forgiven his brother and wants to move forward. Possibly, Billy could be an asset at Jabot as well?
Whether Vickie is grateful or not is hard to tell, but she should be. Once again, her dad bailed her out. Brash and Sassy was spiraling downward until Victor (Eric Braeden) agreed to reattach the cosmetics company to Newman Enterprises. In addition to that gift, Vickie was also named Chief Operating Officer of the global giant.
Juliet’s (Laur Allen) death was unfortunate. She gave her life so that Sam could be born and that makes Cane (Daniel Goddard) infinitely grateful. He, Lily (Christel Khalil), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) might be able to repair their family, which now has five sides.
The Winters’ family support, along with Jill’s (Jess Walton) pending arrival and Colin’s (Tristan Rogers) input can help the Ashby family to heal. Lest it be forgotten due to the dramatics that followed, an initial blessing allowed the twins to survive the aforementioned fire.

Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon (Sharon Case) should be thankful that their plan worked. Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) had guts, returned to GC and exposed Zack (Ryan Ashton). Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was reassured that her sister is safe in the process. Both young women rid themselves of a guy who has been a dark force in their lives.
