The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Tessa Scores Major Points – Loyalty Impresses Victor

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was offered a deal on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Paul (Doug Davidson) told her that the District Attorney, his wife Christine (Lauralee Bell), was offering a deal. Ms. Porter would be able to avoid legal trouble if she had information about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) link to the trafficking ring.

Paul’s pitch wasn’t successful because Tessa had no information to offer and was also unwilling to work as an undercover operative who would be asked to dig for dirt on the ‘Moustache’. Viewers later saw her in handcuffs and about to be put in a cell as a result.

Not only did LP’s lead streaming artist tell Paul that she had no knowledge of anything Victor may have done regarding Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) ring, but she also rejected an opportunity to become a snitch. Noah (Robert Adamson) was immensely grateful to her for not throwing his grandfather, “under the bus”. He also offered much-needed help by promising to get her legal representation.

Victor recently told Noah what Tessa had done during the tree-lighting ceremony at the Ranch. The ‘Moustache’ then told Tessa he was suspicious of her intentions toward his grandson.

The ‘Black Knight’ wrote Noah’s significant other a check for $100,000 and said that she should disappear from Genoa City forever. She turned down Victor’s bribe and retained her principles.

It’s true that Tessa took Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) gun and provided it to Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). That poor soul tracked Zack to the hotel where he was holding Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall) hostage. Y&R fans know what Crystal did with the item Tessa stole and provided to her sister, which is why Paul has now arrested Tessa as an accomplice in the crime that took Zack’s misguided life.

Hopefully, the resources Noah taps will allow Tessa to effectively handle her legal issue. Meanwhile, Victor will be impressed by Tessa’s character. That, in and of itself, will up her standing within the Newman family.
