The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Sharon Right To Be Concerned – Scott Is Conflicted

Sharon (Sharon Case) should listen to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Her older daughter learned from Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that Scott (Daniel Hall) kissed Abby (Melissa Ordway) at the outdoor cafe in Chancellor Park. How Sharon responds to the upsetting information that Mariah will pass along will prove telling.

On a lesser note, consider the business snub Scott offered. He was meeting with Abby at a setting that’s a competitor to Sharon’s business. Maybe he doesn’t like Sharon’s latte’s after all? Light-hearted humor is regularly injected into Y&R’s scripts to balance tension that’s projected in other scenes and has also been weaved within this space.

In terms of serious personal business, Sharon came to believe that Scott is her next one and only. She’d been hesitant in the months leading into her cottage invitation, as uncertainty about Mr. Grainger’s feelings and her own vulnerabilities were in play.

To be fair, Scott had no idea that he’d be forced into a storage unit with Abby where pressured circumstances led from one thing to a definite other. However, that life-threatening situation and resulting outcomes didn’t prove to be ‘Scabby’s’ only encounter.

Scott and Abby nearly kissed in their workplace and then did so at the park cafe. The unforeseen consequence of that incident is that taxi user Faith was present in an adjacent doorway and became a vexed witness.

Y&R offers Lind prime plot space whenever she’s on the set. In this case, Faith has obviously returned for upcoming Christmas festivities and has now been placed in the middle of another Sharon controversy.

Case fans want to believe that her character will respond to Scott’s betrayal, or potential exit from ‘Shott’ responsibly. The arrival of Hall’s character proved to be one of many storyline areas where Sharon was written back to normalcy.

Hardcore Y&R fans were presented with far too many repetitive arcs where Case’s character was portrayed as unbalanced. Here’s hoping that Sharon moves forward with dignity regardless of however Scott continues to behave.
