The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Scott’s Setup Stinks – Sharon Linked To Another Hero

Paul (Doug Davidson) believes that Scott (Daniel Hall) didn’t kill Natalia (Tina Ivlev) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But how is he going to prove it? Yes, Sharon’s (Sharon Case) latest hero has been setup.

Investigative reporters are often discrete. Scott went against type and his character when he divulged a number of details to Zack (Ryan Ashton) about the progress he’d made into the trafficking ring’s funding source. Of course Scott didn’t know that Zack was the king.

Y&R fans, or supporters of any soap opera accept implausible scenarios in order to move plots forward. So, were Scott’s comments out of character? Yes, but he was drinking a bit and never suspected that Zack was anything other than the head of Design Date.

As viewers recently learned, the incubator business that Abby (Melissa Ordway) greenlighted with Newman Enterprises money is a front. Yes, Zack and his people are facilitating dates. But those adult interactions don’t involve honest hearts or actual courtship. Instead, poor women are trapped and exploited.

Sharon just swapped significant others earlier this year. She lost Dylan (Steve Burton) to ‘General Hospital’, uh, to the Witness Protection Program, but gained Scott.

‘Shott’s’ relationship grew rather quickly, as Y&R wanted to pair Sharon with someone. However, Sharon and Scott are believable and have been relatively tension free until now. Once again, Case’s character is linked to a guy who is pursuing justice while being attacked by the bad guys.

Hall was cast as one of the main male characters in this show. So, he’s not going away to prison forever. But extricating himself from this frame likely won’t be easy.

Scott’s beverage was drugged by Zack and was then helped out of The Underground. The audience didn’t see Scott being taken to a flea bag motel and positioned aside of Natalia, who’d been killed.

Zack told Natalia earlier this week to leave Genoa City for good. She didn’t follow his orders and paid for that mistake with her life.

Abby’s boyfriend and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) seeming unwanted past acquaintance set Scott up because he was nearing the truth. That’s what the good guys do, as Sharon knows so well.
