The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nikki Distraction Prevents Victor From Revealing Paternity Secret

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have been feuding for months on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Their latest fight is indirectly connected to Adam (Justin Hartley), who Victor believes is Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigan), biological dad. Just when it seemed as though that unresolved reveal storyline would be addressed, it appears that ‘Niktor’s’ deal will keep it as wrapped as Christmas presents under every Genoa City tree.

Suddenly, out of the clear blue Wisconsin sky this December, Nikki told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that she took money from Victor and stashed it an offshore account. That admission will help Nick (Joshua Morrow), though he doesn’t know it.

Nick learned that Victor was behind Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) return to GC. He got Miss Mitchell released from the mental health facility where she was staying, orchestrated her frame of Adam for murder and then later, lost control of his unstable puppet, who is believed to have killed Victor Junior. Nick raced to tell him, mom and sister, that sickening news, which sparked the aforementioned ‘Niktor’ feud.

The genesis of Victor’s ill-humor (this time) centers on being alienated from Nick and, more significantly, having Nikki out of his life. Bent on revenge, Victor has made numerous attacks against Nick and most recently began threatening Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). The ‘Black Knight’ claims that he’ll tell Nick what Christian’s biological story if she doesn’t do as he says regarding the unknown brothers (Christian and Connor, Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).

Newman Enterprises seems to be in the clear, as the authorities have found its books to be pristine. But Christine (Lauralee Bell) is hot on Victor now that she’s onto his seeming financial anomalies.

Nikki possesses the ability to clear Victor’s name. It seems likely that will happen and her husband will subsequently arrange for the law to go easy on her. But all things ‘Moustache’ come with a price.

In this scenario that likely means ‘Niktor’ should reform. If that happens and Nikki makes Victor happy again, Christian’s paternity secret will remain hidden.
