The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick’s Generosity is Brilliant – Victor Holds Paternity Ace

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick's Generosity is Brilliant – Victor Holds Paternity AceNick (Joshua Morrow) found a way to help others and poke his dad on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Yes, a one-half billion dollar donation will be given to the Abbott-Winters Foundation. Victor (Eric Braeden) got the message, while still knowing that he has an ace to play.

Y&R’s writers head-faked various viewers in the lead-in to Nick’s interview with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) on GC Buzz. No, Nick didn’t publicly reveal that Victor was linked to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and therefore, Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death. Instead, the surviving Newman son revealed a well-conceived plan.

Some in Genoa City society saw Nick’s actions against his father, that Hilary captured in the garage of Newman Enterprises, as coming from an entitled brat. He accepted that critique and has been reflecting.

Sometimes intended actions can have unexpected outcomes. Such is the case in this instance. Nick has responded to Victor’s checking account money grab by deciding to take his trust fund off the table, permanently. Doing so cuts another string from his back.

Nick didn’t appear to know that Victor was planning to take back the entire $500 million amount that he’d been awarded a handful of years ago. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) has been working remotely on that task from Portland, Oregon. Then again, maybe Nick projected what his father was planning and upended his scheme ahead of time.

By choosing to transfer a massive amount of wealth to the Abbott-Winters Foundation Nick sent a mental missive to Victor. Jack (Peter Bergman) is the ‘Moustache’s’ greatest enemy, so the money move obviously isn’t about Neil (Kristoff St. John).

Victor can now pull and play an ace against his son at any time. Now that Nick is off the ranch and will soon voluntarily empty Victor’s money from his accounts, the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) crush will surely drop.

While Victor has restrained himself to-date, all compassion concerns have been eviscerated. Yes, the ‘Black Knight’ no longer cares how Nick feels. Thus, the paternity card will assuredly be played when the time is deemed right and a maximum amount of personal pain can be caused.
