The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick Knows Victor Is A Thief – Newman War Rages

Nick (Joshua Morrow) has detested his father for years on ‘The Young and the Restless’. His deep-seeded feelings about Victor (Eric Braeden) burrowed to another level when he learned that his father was linked to Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) criminal actions. The fallout from the latest father-son confrontation led directly to the current Newman war.

Stealing from anyone is wrong. Stealing from your own son is additionally reprehensible. But Victor’s morality knows no bounds. That’s why he has no problem punishing family.

As tenured Y&R fans recall, Nick is a wealthy man. His bank account is overstuffed. However, the bulk of his fortune didn’t result from the efforts he’s made.

Victor was forced to transfer $500 million each to Nick, Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) in the recent past. That three-pronged award happened because of legal action Victor’s three children took against him. But, he’s has just recouped one-third of his loss.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was glad to help Victor seize one-half of a billion dollars because of what Nick did to Chloe’s life. And life is the operative word.

In Kevin’s opinion, Nick forced the Chloe-(Elizabeth Hendrickson)-is-Adam’s-(Justin Hartley)-killer-reveal, which caused her to seemingly end up in a coffin. But there’s a major hole in Kevin’s logic, as he, Victor and the viewers know, Chloe is alive and well.

As Nick and Noah (Robert Adamson) are attempting to expand The Underground, Victor devised a plan. He called in a favor from Kevin. Having used Chloe against Adam, it was no surprise that Victor then positioned her husband against his other son.

Victor’s cocky comments at the often-seen Genoa City Athletic Club planted an idea in Nick’s mind. He’d just learned that his checking account was empty. Linking that to his dad’s money barb and in knowing how the ‘Moustache’ likes to play cruel games, Nick concluded that he’d been robbed.

Of course, the amount Kevin took and transferred to Victor represents a percentage of the five-hundred million amount. As Nick suffers further loses, he’ll seethe. How he responds remains to be seen on Y&R.
