The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Nick Goes Public – Victor Holds Paternity Card

Nick (Joshua Morrow) decided to expose Victor (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. By using Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) GC Buzz show to go public the latest round in the Newman family war has escalated to a deeper and far more dangerous level.

Y&R fans are waiting to see when Victor will pull the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity card. If is rarely an option where the ‘Moustache’ is concerned. So it appears to be a matter of timing until Nick’s world is crushed.

Not knowing that Adam (Justin Hartley) seemingly fathered Christian puts Nick at a terrible disadvantage. He also doesn’t know that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has been aware of this incredible information since the time Adam was alive. Of course, Victor apparently having confirmed this supposed truth is terrible as well.

‘Chick’ has become a refuge for Nick. The loss of Sage (Kelly Sullivan) devastated Morrow’s character. However, the amazing revert of Sully to Christian then allowed Nick to live and eventually, love again. He trusts Chelsea implicitly, but soon may not.

Nick believes that his father’s treachery is so diabolical that he must inform the world in order to protect his family and potentially, save others. But that bold action will create some type of reprisal. Many who have poked Victor’s nest in the past have had their heads bitten off. Snakes react that way quite often.

Victor’s recent money grab, which saw Kevin (Greg Rikaart) steal Nick’s entire checking account naturally irked Nick. Yet, that was only the first part of the ‘Black Knight’s’ plan, as he intends to take back all of the $500 million Nick was awarded in a bitter legal settlement a handful of years ago.

Never ‘Father of the Year’ material, Victor has worked himself into a frenzy ever since Nick discovered and revealed the link to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Still a captain of industry, Victor is no longer in control of his family. Refusing to take full responsibility for that reality, he’s instead targeted his remaining son.
