Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been trying to distance himself from Victor (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But the shadow of the ‘Moustache’ is ungodly long. Victor’s diabolical punishment scheme is intended to decimate The Underground’s expansion plans, as he attempts to crush all aspects of Nick’s life.
The ‘Black Knight’ didn’t order Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to bankrupt Nick. No, just take $500 million from his account. That was the exact sum Nick received as a result of a lawsuit he, Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) filed against their father a handful of years ago. His sisters were awarded the same amount as well.

Victor decided this summer, in his infinitely defensive mind, that Nick had betrayed his trust. That conclusion was reached because Nick discovered Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was working for his father as part of the Adam (Justin Hartley) smear campaign. That effort eventually led to Adam’s death. While Nick knew Victor didn’t want Chloe to do what she did, he also rightly held his father responsible for her being in Genoa City to begin with, which resulted in the cabin explosion tragedy.
Noah (Robert Adamson) is loyal to family, be he’s not sophisticated when it comes to Victor. Y&R fans must wonder why Noah didn’t learn his lesson after the way his grandfather treated Marisa (Sofia Pernas)? He’s too forgiving, which gave Victor an opening.

The idea that Victor would feed information to Noah about an open restaurant space in St. Louis is detestable. Nick rejected the suggestion Noah took to him, sensing that it merely represented Victor’s next attempt to nose into his business expansion plans. But Victor’s main objective is destruction, rather than annoyance.
Nick’s will be roiled the instant he confirms Victor robbed him. The strategy of distancing himself will then be dropped. An all out war between this son and his father will ensue. That’s what Victor really wants because he’s broken inside. He needs to be admitted to the mental health facility where Chloe once resided.
