The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers Monday October 9: Phyllis Catches Billy – Colin Shows Kindness to Juliet – Victoria Stuns Lily

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, October 9, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will urge Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to believe the truth. At Jabot, Phyllis has a hard time buying that Billy (Jason Thompson) betrayed her. Jack eventually makes her see that this is the kind of thing Billy would do. Phyllis suggests that if Billy is guilty, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) must have talked him into it.

Meanwhile, Billy and Victoria discuss the info they uncovered. When Victoria expresses doubt about their men’s line plans, Billy suggests that he could get on the server again. They might be able to learn more. Lily (Christel Khalil) shows up and speaks with them about her new job. They promise that she’s worthy of this position.

At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) takes a moment to catch up with Colin (Tristan Rogers). They mention Jill’s (Jess Walton) retreat and the idea of crafting a pitch for Chancellor. Colin also learns the baby’s gender. He’s pleased that it’s a boy.

Juliet (Laur Allen) arrives, so Colin decides to introduce himself. He gives her a hug and insists that she’s family now. Afterward, Cane and Colin privately prepare for a trip. They want to give their proposal to Jill in person.

Cane finds Juliet later and lets her know he’s leaving Genoa City for a bit, but he promises that she’ll be in his thoughts. He contends that Juliet and the baby are important to him. When Cane’s gone, Juliet grimaces in pain.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) wonders if Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is moving out to put distance between them. Tessa says that isn’t the case and praises Mariah for being a great person. After Tessa packs up her stuff, Mariah stops her from leaving. She doesn’t want Tessa to go.

Tessa teases Mariah about getting all sentimental and they embrace. Once Tessa heads out, Mariah breaks down in tears. At Crimson Lights, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) gives Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) her phone so she can text Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). She insists their secret will be safe.

Reed comes to see Mattie, but Victoria ends up catching them. They all head over to Lily’s house, where Victoria makes a stunning announcement. She feels like Mattie is right about the unfairness of all this. After Lily and Victoria talk it over, they’ll agree that Mattie and Reed can hang out again. The teens just have to follow the rules this time.

Elsewhere, Sharon fills Nick (Joshua Morrow) in on Alice’s (Tamara Clatterbuck) accident and the fact that she went missing from the hospital. Nick also shares what Victor’s (Eric Braeden) been up to with his bank account. When Nick spots Hilary, he pulls her aside for a quick conversation.

Later, Hilary meets with Jack and agrees to cover Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) award bash. She points out that everything will be fair game. At home, Phyllis and Billy discuss how they don’t really trust each other when it comes to work stuff. After Phyllis goes upstairs, she waits to see what Billy will do with her open laptop.

Billy indeed hops on and uses Dina’s (Marla Adams) password. A disappointed Phyllis calls Billy up for a chat. It sounds like a major confrontation is brewing. We’ll give you updates as other “Young and the Restless” news and rumors emerge. Stick with Y&R to see what’s next in Genoa City.
