The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Kevin Right To Be Concerned – Chloe and Bella In Danger

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) recently arrived in Genoa City on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He left his wife and daughter in Portland, Oregon, though Victor (Eric Braeden) is the only one who knows that fact. Both men need to be concerned about the ‘Moustache’s’ books being audited because digital bread crumbs could lead to Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) faked death being revealed.

As Y&R viewers recall, Victor allowed ‘Khloe’ to flee GC after Chloe admitted to having blown up the cabin where Adam (Justin Hartley) was hiding. Hartley’s character was attempting to escape from the area with his family after being helped by Victor, who had previously framed him for murder. Ah, soap.

Newer viewers who are unaware of said backstory should try and digest a mini-recap right now. Victor had Chloe released from a mental institution in California because he wanted to mine her grief. Adam is still believed to have accidentally hit and killed Chloe’s first-born daughter and then covered up that apparent crime, though various fans still believe he was innocent. Hendrickson’s character has been (is) understandably fixated on Adam since that time.

Chloe and Victor then successfully put Adam in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. Some frayed ends and plot points also developed along the way. Chloe went off-script a number of times, which drew Victor’s angst and Y&R opened still-unclosed holes in the storyline as well.

Adam’s hoped-for return by a segment of the audience aside, the idea that Chloe would be alive and living with her second-born daughter, Bella (Gia Poeme), is rather outrageous. The rub in this instance is that no one in Kevin’s adopted Wisconsin town has figured this part of the arc out?

Now, as Christmas rapidly approaches, Kevin is frightened that the authorities will learn what Victor did in Chloe’s regard. If her still-beating heart is exposed she and Kevin could go to prison, while Bella would likely be taken from them, or live with Esther (Kate Linder).

Savvy daytime fans likely believe that the revived storyline is being written so that some closure can be achieved. Although that seasonal wish might go unanswered depending upon how everything plays out during the next few weeks.
