The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack’s Removal As Jabot CEO Is Dangerous – Newman Enterprises Loves Trouble

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and surprisingly, Traci (Beth Maitland) were troubled that Jack (Peter Bergman) stretched himself too thin on ‘The Young and the Restless’. So a Jabot board meeting was called, which resulted in Jack being voted out as CEO. That spells trouble, which Newman Enterprises loves.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and his just-returned mini-me, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), are equally ultra competitive. Word of the Abbott family’s tumult will spurn more than smiles on both Grinch’s faces. The head of Newman and his right-hand daughter will look to capitalize on Jabot’s upheaval despite goodwill opportunities that the Christmas season presents.

Jill (Jess Walton) has just returned from wherever she and Colin (Tristan Rogers) were in the world. Well, actually Colin is said to still be on vacation. Hopefully that great actor rejoins the cast in time for holiday festivities.

As Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Billy (Jason Thompson) just learned, Jill intends to sell Chancellor Industries. She feels that the price for Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) company could never be higher, so it’s time to cash in.

An apparent awareness of suffering has burrowed into Jill’s soul while she’s been away. She plans to use the proceeds from the proposed corporate cash call to fund her do-gooding across the globe.

Jack bee-lined over to the mansion immediately after Billy told him of Jill’s plan. The then-CEO of Jabot wrote an impressive offer for Chancellor on the back of one of Esther’s (Kate Linder) Christmas napkins and Jill was impressed. She is keeping his proposal under consideration and knows that her sister Lauren (Tracey Bregman) would benefit from said deal as well. Whether Jack’s offer represented a binding legal move is yet to be determined.

It appears as though CI will be available to the highest bidder unless Jabot gives Jack his power back. Yes, that likely means that the ‘Moustache’ and the ‘Ice Princess’ will be sweet-talking Jill shortly.

Y&R fans also know that the Hamilton-Winters Group could also become a suitor for CI. As Katherine’s grandson Devon (Bryton James) surely wouldn’t want to see the Grand Dame’s legacy fall into Newman’s greedy hands.
