The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary Is Exposed – Hevon Hopes Remain Alive

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has disrupted many people’s lives on ‘The Young and the Restless’. A long line of enemies want to see the owner of GC Buzz knocked off her perch. Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) stands at the front of that queue with the power to do so.

Devon (Bryton James) reached a conclusion awhile ago. He decided to split from the woman he loved. Hilary didn’t agree at first, but eventually relented. She only asked for one thing in the divorce settlement, full control of the online entity that Devon owned.

The price Mr. Hamilton paid wasn’t a lot. He was expecting Hilary to ask for half his fortune, or more. Regardless of what any of Hilary’s enemies believe, Devon is her soul mate. So the request she made wasn’t that big of a surprise.

Some women always need a man by their side, just as some guys always need a woman. Some couples appear to have balanced relationships that aren’t about control. Instead, those pairings practice generosity.

‘Hevon’ wasn’t often in sync. But a reasonable analysis could conclude that Devon allowed Hilary to manipulate his emotions. He wasn’t always an enabler, but did defended her outrageous behavior in various instances until it proved too much for him to handle.

Jordan was attracted to Hilary from the moment they first met. He respectfully asked Devon to date her during ‘Hevon’s’ separation period. Jordan was warned, but said that he wanted to make his own judgment about Hilary. As Y&R fans know, he’s surely done that.

‘Jilary’s’ breakup was nothing like ‘Hevon’s’. Hilary and Jordan have been going at each other in the weeks that followed, which now leads to Mr. Wilde’s photo revenge act. And that will enable Devon to defend Hilary if he so chooses.

Yes, there will be a real opportunity for Y&R to create ‘Hevon’s’ sequel. Audience feelings appear mixed about that option. But there’s no doubt that Morgan and James will play whatever arcs their given to the max if their characters are written together again.
