The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Halloween Horror – Billy and Victor Create Jack-O-Lantern Plan

Halloween is spookier than usual on The Young and the Restless . Billy (Jason Thompson), who has loathed Victor (Eric Braeden) forever, has agreed to work with the ‘Moustache’ against Jack (Peter Bergman).

Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) toxic poisoning, via Brash and Sassy’s ill-fated facial mask push, proved to be another factor in the horrifying Billy-Victor alliance. Both men have jumped to the conclusion that Jack is behind the presumed sabotage.

Victor recently became aware of Billy’s corporate espionage. That, in and of itself, should prove problematic for the younger Abbott brother moving forward. Billy is blinded by current circumstances and his ongoing feud with Jack. For the time being he’s come to believe that working with Victor is necessary. That is a frightful mistake!

Y&R’s version of Bela Lugosi, aka Victor, is obviously playing a deeper game. He’s making use of a crisis and Brash and Sassy’s fragile financial state to play Billy for a fool. Whether Victor’s mask will fall off in time for Billy to realize what’s happening will remain a question into November.

Billy isn’t stupid and was resistant to Victor’s plan to fund the embattled beauty company in recent months. Vickie agreed with her ex-husband at that time, choosing to accept Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) bridge loan. However, Vickie’s collapse during the ‘Hilary Hour’ changed Billy’s perspective.

Meanwhile, Jack called Gloria (Judith Chapman) earlier in the week from Florida. Both parties claimed that they weren’t responsible for the toxic shock. It appeared as though Jack was being genuine, as for his executive assistant, well, viewers aren’t so sure.

Y&R devotees know Gloria’s rap sheet in this specific regard. Those that didn’t were recently informed though a dialogue refresher. Might storyline history be repeating itself? Did ‘Glo’ believe that she was helping to strengthen Jabot by sabotaging Brash and Sassy’s facial masks, just as she did Jabot’s face cream years ago?

Reacting mostly on conjecture, like many witch hunters do, Victor and Billy are planning to turn Jack into a, yes, Jack-O-Lantern. Hey, it’s Halloween week and this is a soap. So pardon the horrific joke.
