The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham’s Ruse Blows Up – Dina Finally Sees Reality

Dina (Marla Adams) has been living in a fantasy world on ‘The Young and the Restless’ since before she arrived from Paris. Her perceived confidant has taken advantage of her. But a coming revelation will expose Graham (Max Shippee) at last.

Brent Davis (Bert Kramer) hasn’t been part of Y&R’s storylines for years. But Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) recent mention of him, along with a series of flashbacks revived the aged plot line.

Tenured viewers have been wondering why Ashley’s paternity would be raised, as the reveal surrounding Brent being her father occurred decades ago. Adams was still on the show at that time. So all seemed to been fully resolved.

While Graham initially appeared to be a gold-digger, he’s actually being unveiled as Brent’s son and therefore Ashley’s brother. That fact will surely be hard for Ashley and Dina to accept.

A nicely crafted scenario last week had Ashley find a curious statement in Graham’s Genoa City Athletic Club Suite. Dina provided her with the room’s key card in hopes of satisfying what she saw as her daughter’s incessant and off-base belief that Graham was a creep.

Ashley used the discovered senior care facility bill to make direct contact with Mrs. Bloodworth. It was a bit of a stretch to think that lady would divulge that Graham was her son during Ashley’s fortuitous conversation. However, soap fans suspend disbelief in order to keep plot lines flowing.

Recent cast news confirmed that Beth Maitland (Traci) was filming scenes and would appear on screen soon. Add Jack (Peter Bergman) to the Abbott bunch, along with Ashley and Dina’s children are being assembled to help their mother handle the full reveal of this storyline.

This arc is about to break when considering the questions Graham keeps asking Dina about Brent, the childhood photo he had of himself standing in front of a GC elementary school and his mother’s routes in town. Dina will see reality, as viewers also learn what Graham’s plan has been all along.
