The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham Commits a Crime to Gain Money – Dina Down But Not Out

Graham (Max Shippee) left Dina (Marla Adams) for dead on ‘The Young and the Restless’. What a coward! Y&R viewers were shown just how far Mr. Bloodworth would go to get his greedy hands on Madame Mergeron’s money. But Dina hasn’t encountered her former husband’s yet and shouldn’t be counted out.

Adams surely treasures her full-time return to Y&R. It’s been three decades since she first played the role of John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) estranged wife and the controversial mother of Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland).

All who love good soap and value the efforts actors offer are happy for Adams and for the show. The arc that saw Dina return to Genoa City also added a new character, the aforementioned Graham.

Dina returned to her GC Athletic Club Suite following the bitter blowout at the Top of the Tower. Jack was with her. Her trusted son advised that Graham would be taken care of, but he soapily allowed his distraught mother to remain alone. Why would he do that knowing that Graham would surely confront Dina at some point that night? Well, the storyline needed to be pushed along and so it went.

After Graham had it out with Dina, again blaming her for Myrna’s (Marcia Rodd) inability to keep Brent (Bert Kramer) content, Adams’ character collapsed. That made sense, as she’d been through quite an ordeal and was facing the awkward shock of having revealed Ashley’s true paternity in public.

Graham wasn’t actually concerned with Dina’s trauma. After appearing to begin thumbing 911 on his smartphone, Brent’s stepson left her on the floor in an apparent unconscious state and put a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the outside door handle as he left.

Hardcore Y&R fans may have flashed-back to when Jack left Victor for dead at the Colonnade Room. Jack was guilty of that crime then and so is Graham now.

Despite Dina’s previous mental capacity issues, she’s physically strong. She’ll not only rebound, but go after Graham as well. His time as the recipient of her fortune is over. When and how he leaves Wisconsin is yet to be known.
