The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers Friday, December 22: Jack Drops a Bomb on Ashley – Paul Wants Nikki To Spy – Hilary’s Scheme Pays Off

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 22, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) conflict will continue. At the Abbott mansion, the Christmas gathering gets underway. Ash and Jack bicker over the CEO drama, which prompts outrage from Dina (Marla Adams). She can’t believe some of Jack’s own family members would betray him like that.

Hilary Feels Awkward At The Abbotts

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) enjoys some sexy banter with Billy (Jason Thompson) before heading over to the Abbott home. Billy goes to the Chancellor mansion and plans to join Phyllis later. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) also arrives for the Abbotts’ holiday dinner, but she’s a bit uncomfortable. Phyllis agrees that they this is a pretty awkward get-together.

Lily Is Feeling Glum

Over with Billy, he greets Jill (Jess Walton) while Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) offers reassurance to Cane (Daniel Goddard). He lets his dad know he definitely wants to be there. Charlie tries to pass a blanket for Sam off as a gift from Lily (Christel Khalil). Elsewhere, Lily opens a photo album from Charlie. As Lily reflects on the past, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) notes that her mom seems glum.

Hilary and Devon Scheme

Once Cane phones Lily to thank her for the present, they figure out that Charlie fibbed. Lily and Cane get a kick out of the teen’s sneakiness. At the athletic club, Hilary ropes Devon (Bryton James) into a scheme. With some help from Jill (Jess Walton), they manage to get Cane and Lily together with the twins. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) appears for some Christmas carols with the crowd.

Christine & Paul Want Nikki To Spy

Across town, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) try to bargain with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). They don’t buy that her reunion is legit, so they think they can be of assistance. Christine and Paul want Nikki to spy on Victor (Eric Braeden). If she can help them bring Victor down, Nikki will get immunity.

Jack Drops A Bombshell

Y&R fans can expect a negative reaction from Nikki. She turns down the offer, but Paul insists this is her chance to break free. Back with Jack and Ashley, a major bombshell changes everything. Jack tells Ashley that an amendment has come to his attention. He added one a while back and it stipulates that only a blood Abbott can run Jabot. Ashley’s furious when Jack refuses to let her take his job away.

Billy and Phyllis meet up back home to reaffirm their love. They mention the strife outside their humble abode and contend that they won’t let it get to them.
