The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Abby Fires At Victor and Vickie – Scott Has Soul Mate’s Back

Yes, Abby (Melissa Ordway) is Scott’s (Daniel Hall) soul mate on ‘The Young and the Restless’, not Sharon (Sharon Case). That’s the kicker to the crafted Y&R headline, even though the lead line winked at Newman business dealings.

The step that Abby took in responding to her father and sister’s cowardly attempt to pin all the blame on her for the Design Date fiasco was impressive. Scott encouraged her move by suggesting adjustments to the public statement that Vickie (Amelia Heinle) created and Victor (Eric Braeden) approved of.

The head of Newman Enterprises and his new Chief Operating Officer wanted Abby to lie about the company’s awareness of Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) dealings. She was rightly miffed by the demand that was made. That’s right, it wasn’t a request.

Abby and Scott reviewed the prepared statement’s details at the Genoa City Athletic Club, unbeknownst to the ‘Moustache’ and the ‘Ice Princess’. The duo returned and didn’t inform Victor and Victoria what the assembled press was about to hear. Abby proceeded to tell the truth, which her dad and sister didn’t like one bit.

Okay, now let’s address the soul mate issue. Scott seemingly doesn’t have a meaningful significant other in his backstory. He’s made passing reference to his personal life since returning from his journalistic slash government assignment, but seemingly has no current loved one out there in the big world.

Abby rubbed him the wrong way since Victor first paired his then-top executives earlier this year. Chemistry clearly was evidenced between both parties on many occasions and the ‘Scabby’ nickname was soon applied.

Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) wiped Zack off the face of the earth. However, his revelation made Abby available long before the shot rang out that took his life.

Scott is with Sharon right now, but ‘Shott‘ doesn’t have a deep history, isn’t engaged and has no children. Scott’s feelings represent his only tie to Sharon and those were put in question by what happened in the storage unit. Yes, it does appear that Y&R is writing Abby and Scott into each other’s hearts.
