Victor (Eric Braeden) almost always, well okay, always pulls a large lump of coal from his deluxe stocking. Mr. Ruthless seemingly can’t change his ways.

The Hamilton-Winters’ led public relations reply tries to paint the ‘Moustache’ in a positive manner, but hardcore Y&R viewers and Santa’s elves saw right through that thin ruse. The ‘Black Knight’ attacked Nick (Joshua Morrow) for sport because of the Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) revelation, threatened Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) with Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity information and leveraged Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) back to the Ranch. Yes, that’s enough to earn a large piece of anthracite.
Vickie (Amelia Heinle) was back for two minutes at Newman Enterprises when she decided that Abby (Melissa Ordway) should be blamed for the Design Date catastrophe. The undeservedly installed Chief Operating Officer was trying to oust her younger sister so that she could be Daddy’s sole favorite in the workplace.
Earlier in the fall Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) was rescued from The Underground, which was on fire. Vickie’s son could have easily lost his life. So how did Vickie respond to Billy’s (Jason Thompson) heroism? Yes, she slapped his face and fired him from Brash and Sassy on the spot.
Billy’s embrace of Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), as The Underground burned, provoked Vickie’s hypocrisy. She previously pulled Billy’s emotional strings, causing him to understandably conclude that ‘Villy’ was never going to happen. So he returned to Phyllis, which provoked her vindictiveness.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) has been battling with Jack (Peter Bergman) for decades. More recently, she’s been stringing Ravi (Abhi Sinha) along and told him, just days before Christmas, that their relationship was over. Nice. But let’s review what Ashley did to her half-brother Jack most recently.
John Abbott, Junior decided to temporarily step aside as Jabot’s head in order to take care of Dina (Marla Adams). What does Ashley do in response? Oh, just call a meeting of the board, trash his efforts and try to take control after he received a no-confidence vote. Later, on Christmas Eve, she slapped Jack hard across the face after he informed her that she wasn’t allowed to be CEO according to Jabot’s bylaws (that he’d changed years ago). Wow!
