The Young and the Restless (YR) Poll: Who Is Billy A Better Match With? Vickie, Phyllis or Lily? VOTE!

Billy (Jason Thompson) is currently with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Vickie (Amelia Heinle) seems very likely to rekindle a relationship with her multiple-time husband. However, Billy recently appeared to offer more than a hug to Lily (Christel Khalil).

There are those who don’t consider Billy to be a prize. But for those who do – who will win him among the aforementioned trio?

Phyllis and Billy came together despite protests by longtime Y&R fans. Many in that contingent believed that the history of those characters would never enable whatever a ‘Philly’ is to form. To that group, Phyllis and Billy seemed and remains impossible.

‘Philly’s’ supposed connection was sparked by the ‘Ice Queen’, meaning Victoria, having frozen the lout, meaning Billy, out. At the same time, Jack (Peter Bergman) gave his wife the stiff-arm because of the bizarre Marco (also Bergman) matter.

Vickie has chosen to believe, or possibly know, from the beginning that Phyllis won’t remain in Billy’s life forever and that she is her ex-husband’s only true soul mate. Now, the former Mrs. Billy Abbott wants him back. Whether Vickie’s instinct leads to ‘Villy’s’ actual reconciliation remains to be seen.

It’s possible that Y&R may have thrown a red herring at the audience. Billy’s hug of Lily appeared to imply a potential offshoot storyline. But he might have just been compassionate, considering the end of ‘Lane’, or happy that Lily accepted the marketing position at Brash and Sassy. It’s Billy, so who knows what he was really thinking.

Billy will be kicked out of the penthouse by Phyllis, due her realization that he’s used her laptop to commit espionage against Jabot. At that point he will search for someone to hug. If Lily is within his reach and Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) has been seen cavorting with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) again, ‘BilLily’ could happen.

So there appear to be three clear choices. Phyllis forgives Billy and they stay together. Phyllis and Billy breakup and he returns to Vickie. Billy opts to make a play for Lily no matter which other woman he’s with.
