The Young and the Restless (YR) Poll: Which Genoa City Couples Are Over?

Many pairings are in crisis on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But among various couples, which will end first?

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire) appear to be blissful. But their relationship rests on half-truths and withheld information. Nick never told Chelsea how Victor (Eric Braeden) was linked to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and therefore, Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death. Chelsea has been withholding paternity information about Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) since before Adam died and kept details of her checkered past hidden as well. Revelations on even one point mentioned in this paragraph could end ‘Chick’.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Noah (Robert Adamson) are in trouble, though both characters don’t know it. Tessa believes that she’s made a commitment to a man who is treating her with respect. Noah moved past Marisa (Sofia Pernas) awhile ago, but doesn’t realize where his current girlfriend’s true feelings may be centered. The problem for Tessa is that she doesn’t seem to know either, thus ‘Nessa’s’ dilemma exists.

Lily (Christel Khalil) appears to have given Cane (Daniel Goddard) a reprieve from divorce due to Juliet’s (Laur Allen) untimely passing. So the hearing that was interrupted might be indefinitely postponed, or scrapped all together.

However, ‘Lane’ still isn’t on solid footing. Obviously, all signs will point to a full reconciliation if Lily allows Cane to move home with Sam. But they remain at the Chancellor mansion there’s no reason to be certain that this likeable duo will be reborn.

Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon (Sharon Case) appear on the verge of strengthening their relationship. Zack (Ryan Ashton) will certainly be tagged as Natalia’s (Tina Ivlev) killer soon, thus freeing Scott from impeding imprisonment. But Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) perceived boyfriend’s imminent exit means that she’ll need consoling. She’s confided in Scott to-date and is primed to lean on his shoulder, thus setting up Sharon’s scorn and potentially, ‘Shott’s’ end.

Abby and Zack were never a real couple. However, their recent night at the Tack House could tie the head of the trafficking ring to Abby forever. ‘Zabby’ might not be able to end unless Zack’s demise plays out.
