The Young and the Restless: Jack’s Life About To Explode – Facing Difficulty Controlling Hilary, Taking Care Of Dina and Running Jabot

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Jack’s life is about to take a turn for the worse. He already has a lot on his plate, mostly because of his mother’s ongoing health problems and his feud with his power-hungry sister Ashley (Eileen Davidson) over the control of Jabot. Well now things are literally about to blow up in Jack’s face in the form of one very huge explosion.

Actor Peter Bergman tells Soaps in Depth that Jack is about to face one of the biggest challenges he’s ever seen in his life. And it’s one that will test him and his ability to move forward both personally and professionally.

Peter told the publication, “Jack is pulled in a lot of different directions. But his new post at the Hilary Hour might be a good thing. It’s a change for Jack to feel good.”

But it won’t be easy for Jack, that’s because he is still fighting Ashley, who is completely opposed to the deal. Peter explains, “If the Abbott name is attached to the show, there needs to be less salacious stuff, more real news. He wants to take the show to the high road. He wants to be contributing to something that will be benefiting people and do good things. I don’t think Hilary was aware that that was what Jack had intended.”

If that weren’t enough, Jack soon realizes that he also can’t take care of Jabot and his mother Dina, who is currently battling Alzheimer disease. Soon enough, he is going to have to let go of one thing or another.
