Which Genoa City Resident Deserved A Great Christmas Gift?

There are many characters, both literally and figuratively on ‘The Young and the Restless’. This poll question is deeply subjective and has many answers. So, who deserved a great Christmas gift this year in Genoa City?

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) deserves many gifts each year for tolerating the ‘Moustache’. But she deserves a special something under her tree at the Ranch next week. Buying Chancellor Park was a wonderful gesture, as doing so keeps that public space from being developed.

It must be noted that Mrs. Newman was also naughty, as her recently revealed embezzlement action confirmed. Victor (Eric Braeden) has forgiven his woebegone wife’s ways and generously kept her out of the slammer. As he’s kept Nikki from wearing her imagined orange jump suit and welcomed back home, under mutually agreed upon terms, this ‘Great Man’ deserves an extra treat.

Sharon (Sharon Case) has opened her home and her heart to Scott (Daniel Hall). He isn’t demonstrating trust, or gratitude, but she doesn’t know that yet. In the meantime Mr. Grainger needs to get the woman he claims to love, which would be Sharon and not Abby (Melissa Ordway), something great.

Lily (Christel Khalil) should buy Sam something sweet this Christmas. If she does it will be a way to also express her love for Cane (Daniel Goddard). Yes, this couple has been though a lot, due to Mr. Ashby’s recent middle-aged and reckless behavior. However, there’s still time to save ‘Lane’ as Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has suggested.

Dina (Marla Adams) deserves peace among her children, specifically meaning Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson). That would surely make mother happy as she bravely battles Alzheimer’s disease during what could be Adams’ final months on the show, depending on how Dina’s storyline is written.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) lost a lot in recent years. Now, as Christmas 2017 approaches, what he needs is for the woman he loves (Chelsea, Melissa Claire Egan) and his children to be by his side. Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) can’t be technically counted among them. However, that plot point isn’t relevant right now. In the meantime, Nick should be allowed to enjoy this holy day celebration with Adam’s (Justin Hartley) child.

Of course, there are many other gift-worthy GC residents who could be mentioned as well. Feel free to consider all characters and to enjoy the season with the ones, you the readers, love.
