The Young and The Restless Star Max Page Hospitalized Again

New reports say that ‘The Young and the Restless’ star Max Page is once again in the hospital. The young actor, who played J.T. and Victoria’s son on the hit daytime soap, has been hospitalized because of either another virus or a bacterial infection. The young actor has been in and out of hospitals for months now, following a serious infection of the heart.

Past reports indicate that young Max has been fighting a serious heart infection called endocarditis. He’s so far had eleven heart surgeries and even has an inserted heart valve and a pacemaker.

His mother Jennifer Page wrote to his fans on social media, “Well – back at CHLA the last few days. Trying to discover if Max has a virus or bacterial infection. All signs are pointing to virus and we “should” go home tomorrow. We love the cross over Max’s heart in the X-ray – never alone. He got right back to theming the days and is diligently keeping his eyes and focus on God. Even thanking him for the trials…hope to share good news tomorrow. Stop and appreciate each day – life can turn quickly…”

Because of Max’s ongoing health issues, his character J.T has been recast and is now played by actor Tristan Lake Leabu. Many ‘The Young and the Restless’ fans were surprised by the decision, especially since CBS did not make any official announcements or statements about Max’s future with the show or his health condition for that matter.
