The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Zack is Shady – Abby Should Be Careful

Y&R fans don’t know Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) backstory on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He’s also been mum on offering explicit details to-date as well. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was not happy to see this guy when she first spotted him at Crimson Lights. Sharon (Sharon Case) doesn’t want Noah (Robert Adamson) to be dragged into whatever drama has filled Zack’s life in the past. So why is Abby (Melissa Ordway) seemingly accepting of this new face in town?

Abby’s intentions aren’t purely business related. Yes, it’s true that Zack pitched a business incubator idea to her that she accepted. But there appears to be two-way chemistry between these characters that goes beyond Zack’s concierge dating app idea. That would be a leading reason why Abby is currently blind to his seemingly overt overtones.

Viewers haven’t been given enough information to know if Tessa and Zack were connected romantically before they arrived in Genoa City. Possibly they are siblings, or cousins. If family ties don’t exist, then it seems plausible that Tessa and Zack were involved in bad dealings with each other, or through some type of illegal situation.

Zack’s defensive reaction to Sharon’s mild questions was indicative of someone who’s hiding something. He had no respect for the owner of the establishment in which he was accessing her free WiFi. That might seem like a picky point, but it goes to this man’s level of common decency.

As with many overly aggressive personality types, Zack could be someone who doesn’t believe that he needs to establish credibility in GC. Earning a good reputation is counter to manipulator’s mind sets.

It is possible that Zack is a pure soul who was wronged by Tessa? He may simply have misinterpreted Sharon’s questions as nosy, not realizing that she was being protective of her son. And, Zack might honestly be trying to impress Abby on a business and personal level. But it surely doesn’t feel that way, as Y&R fans know.
