The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: Victor Keeps Secrets from Chelsea – Nikki Cuts Victor Off – Lauren Plays Matchmaker

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, April 12, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will keep secrets from Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). At Newman Enterprises, Chelsea walks in as Victor watches the GC Buzz interview. Victor knows Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) put Chelsea through a lot of heartache. Chelsea feels they could’ve avoided all the pain if Chloe hadn’t returned to Genoa City.

Victor notes that he wanted Chelsea and Adam (Justin Hartley) to have a great life together. They lean in for a warm hug. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) tries to calm Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) nerves. They eventually end up at the DMV for the driver’s test. Reed gets a no-nonsense instructor, so his charm tactics fail. Nevertheless, Reed manages to pass.

At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) states that no one can ever know about Victor’s role in Chloe’s scheme. Nick (Joshua Morrow) complains, but Nikki points out that they could all go down with this sinking ship. She promises there’ll be no forgiveness for Victor. Nikki just doesn’t want to get the police involved.

Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) vow to keep their mouths shut for the time being. Victoria doesn’t like the idea of leaving Billy out of the loop, but she agrees to it. They don’t plan on telling Abby (Melissa Ordway) either. When Chelsea arrives, she rants about searching for Chloe. Nick convinces Chelsea to concentrate on the good things in her life.

Victoria meets up with Billy and Reed at Crimson Lights. After a chat about Reed’s birthday party, Billy speaks with Victoria privately. He wants to know what happened at Nikki and Victor’s place. Billy can tell that something’s up.

Nikki stops by Newman and gets into a heated argument with Victor. She snaps that they’re keeping quiet for the sake of the family, but he won’t go unpunished. Nikki argues that Victor is no longer part of the Newman clan. They’ll put on a show for the public’s benefit, but Victor will face their wrath in private.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will have a surprising suggestion for Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). At home, Lauren urges Phyllis to date Scott (Daniel Hall). Phyllis brushes it off and insists they can both find love interests on their own.

At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria (Judith Chapman) discuss the Chloe situation. Gloria gets emotional about poor Kevin (Greg Rikaart). When Jack embraces her, Phyllis walks in and waits for an explanation. Jack and Gloria contend that their pretend romance turned into real one. They bring up their chemistry and how they aren’t hurting anyone.

After Gloria is gone, Phyllis marvels at Jack’s latest fling. He argues that they’re just having some fun and implies that Phyllis should do the same. Y&R spoilers hint that Phyllis will indeed let loose pretty soon. A night with Scott will lead to some surprising fireworks.
