‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 2: Gloria Explodes At Jack – Jill Desperate, Selling Brash & Sassy – Ashley Blasts Phyllis About Ravi

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 2, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will discuss the merger drama. At Brash and Sassy, Billy guesses that Jill (Jess Walton) must’ve blown up over the news. They shift gears and talk about the next weapon in the B&S arsenal. Victoria asks Billy to help her launch it.

Billy takes off his shirt so Victoria can try out a few kinds of cologne. They need to pick a new signature scent for the company. Victoria leans against Billy’s chest and notes that the second one smells nice. Meanwhile, Colin (Tristan Rogers) wants Jill to walk away from her fight with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). Jill starts to suspect Colin has an ulterior motive.

Colin suggests that he just wants to spend more time with Jill. He doesn’t think they should tie themselves up with this when they’ve already achieved plenty of success. Jill just isn’t willing to back down. She meets with an attorney and insists that Fenmore’s stores should belong to her.

Back at Brash and Sassy, Cane is irked when he learns Victoria and Billy are making decisions without him again. Billy urges Cane to take a sniff and weigh in. Jill pops in later and wonders if they want to buy Brash and Sassy from Chancellor. She admits she needs some quick cash.

At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) makes a speech about the Jabot’s merger with Fenmore’s. Gloria (Judith Chapman) tries to call Jack, but he doesn’t pick up. Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are instructed to work as the team while everyone else helps Lauren with the transition.

Gloria leaves an angry message and eventually calls back. Jack tells her he’s busy and hangs up. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) feels like Jack needs to make Jabot his priority. He assures his sister that he’s got everything under control. Gloria finally decides to confront Jack in person. She storms in and reminds him that she was promised a position at the company.

Jack tells Gloria there’s nothing he can do, but she replies that he’ll have to find a way. Gloria shouts that she won’t be ignored. “The Young and the Restless” fans can expect Gloria to stir up big trouble next week. Stay tuned for updates on her sneaky plan.

In Ravi’s office, Lauren tells him to concentrate on Fenmore’s app. She feels like Ashley can spare him for something this important. Ashley isn’t pleased when she realizes Phyllis and Ravi aren’t devoting time to Jabot. Ravi is surprised when Ashley blasts Phyllis for hogging her right-hand man.

At the Chancellor mansion, Lauren finds out Jill isn’t home. Colin asks her to talk to him instead. He assures Lauren that he’s on her side and she wonders what his angle is. Colin suggests that he just wants what’s best for Jill. Lauren seems a little unsure, but she’s grateful for Colin’s support.

At the athletic club, Devon (Bryton James) tells Neil (Kristoff St. John) that Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) apology was the last thing he expected. Neil asks if it changed anything for Devon. They discuss how love can make you crazy. Devon confesses that he can’t stop thinking about Hilary, but he’s trying to convince himself that he shouldn’t take her back. Naturally, it’s proving difficult.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Hilary will wonder if Mariah (Camryn Grimes) accepts her apology. At GC Buzz, Mariah admits that she doesn’t think it was genuine. She believes Hilary only did it for Devon. Hilary promises that she’s truly sorry and learned her lesson. Mariah eventually comes around on the idea that Hilary is trying to change.

Devon shows up and lets Hilary know he was impressed by her willingness to apologize on the air. It sounds like Hilary could be making progress.
