‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, February 27: Paul and Lauren Fight Over Ransom – Jack and Gloria Slip Up, Michael Suspicious – Victoria Connects with Reed

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, February 27, tease that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will try to learn more about Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) connection. In Jack’s office, Michael confronts them about the shoulder massage. They brush off his concerns and Gloria saunters off.

Michael still thinks Jack is up to something. He accuses him of plotting revenge, but Jack says giving Gloria this job was about returning a favor. Once Michael is gone, Gloria returns to Jack and wonders how they should define their relationship. Jack just wants to focus on being a little less conspicuous.

When Gloria hints that she wants to move up at the company, Jack indicates it will happen. Later, Gloria and Jack make eye contact at the athletic club. He nods at her and she rushes past Nikki as she heads to a suite. Jack isn’t too far behind, which intrigues Nikki.

Meanwhile, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) gives Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) updates on a big problem with Fenmore’s website. They determine that they’ll have to delay the app launch until everything is fixed. Phyllis mentions Lauren’s (Tracey E. Bregman) stress and wishes she could help. Ravi thinks they can at least ease Lauren’s mind about work. They just have to get the launch ready.

Phyllis visits Jack in his office and gripes about Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) viciousness. She’s tired of the drama, but Jack isn’t concerned about her issues. Phyllis asks about Jack’s love life, but he doesn’t divulge anything. When Phyllis returns to Ravi’s office, she wonders if he feels like she’s scared to be alone. Ravi suggests that everyone is.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Paul (Doug Davidson) and Lauren will clash about the hostage situation. At home, Lauren learns the call can only be traced to the Middle East. She’s frustrated because they can’t pinpoint the exact location. Lauren declares that they’re going to pay the ransom. She feels they have no choice.

Paul isn’t sure that’s the best strategy and mentions Dylan (Steve Burton). Lauren rants about how Dylan left his family. She snaps that Scott (Daniel Hall) is in real danger. Paul gets her to calm down and they try to find a solution. He explains his plan and comforts Lauren.

Michael shows up and hears the news about the ransom. Lauren makes a pitch for why they should sell everything and give the captors what they want. Paul counters her argument, but Michael is on board with whatever Lauren wants to do.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) makes her way over to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place for a chat. She finds Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and praises him for his open mic night performance. Victoria complains about Reed sneaking out and he grumbles as he storms off.

Nikki laughs when Victoria brings up Reed’s adventures in credit card stealing and porn site joining. She reminds Victoria of her own wild stunts and insists that this is typical teen behavior. After Nikki leaves, Victoria decides to talk to Reed about music lessons. She asks him to play his guitar for her and they share a sweet moment.

It sounds like Victoria and Reed are finally making some progress. Y&R rumors hint that there’ll be some bumps in the road, but they’re headed in the right direction. Stay tuned to see what’s in store for this mother and her often unruly son.
