‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, February 20: Scott Missing, Lauren Fears Worst – Reed’s a Hit at Open Mic Night – Victoria Supports Billy

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, February 20, tease that Paul (Doug Davidson) will find out Lauren’s (Tracey E. Bregman) son, Scott (Daniel Hall), may be missing. At home, Lauren and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) are stunned by Paul’s updates. He explains that the news agency Scott works for hasn’t heard from him.

Lauren vows to find her son, but Michael insists she can’t go to the Middle East. Paul takes a phone call from Washington and notes that someone could be holding Scott against his will. Lauren gets panicky, but her outburst is put on hold by her ringing phone. She answers and hears Scott briefly, but they lose the connection.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) supports Billy (Jason Thompson) at the hospital. He tells her about Jill’s (Jess Walton) condition and thanks her for coming. They talk about the changes Jill and her family will have to make. Across town, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) urges Sharon (Sharon Case) to join her for some fun at The Underground.

Victoria returns home and faces more tension with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). Billy shows up later and fills Reed in on Jill’s health. After Billy goes upstairs to tuck in the children, Victoria and Reed chat about how fragile life can be. She mentions the idea finding joy while you still can.

Billy comes down and talks to Victoria alone. He’s sorry he acted like she was cold and notes that she’s a good mom. Victoria replies that Billy is a great dad and son. He asks how he was as a husband and Victoria teases that two out of three isn’t bad.

At The Underground, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gets uncomfortable when Abby (Melissa Ordway) starts throwing the word “couple” around. She doesn’t seem quite ready to take that step with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Nick tries to ease the awkwardness a little later by cracking jokes.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Abby will seek advice from Nick. She’s been worried about Victoria swooping in and stealing her job. Nick admits that Victoria was right about Victor (Eric Braeden), but she’s sure this is what she wants. He thinks she’ll pull it off if she keeps working hard.

Mariah comes in with Sharon and they mull over Chelsea’s relationship with Nick. Sharon assures Mariah that she’s OK with their bond. She decides to prove it by going over to their table to say hello. Things are a bit weird, but they push through it. Talk turns to Crimson Lights and Nick suggests that Sharon will do a fine job of running it. He mentions that everything has come full circle.

Across town, Reed grabs his guitar and rushes out the door. He walks in The Underground and meets Mariah (Camryn Grimes). After being led away from a tray of alcohol, Reed gets on stage. Noah (Robert Adamson) introduces him and the crowd enjoys the performance. Mariah makes a video of Reed while he plays.

It sounds like Reed has some talent. Y&R will undoubtedly continue to put him in the spotlight. We’ll keep you posted as other details and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s in store.
