Jack (Peter Bergman) has unexpectedly retained his 49 percent stake in Fenmore’s on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That happened because Colin (Tristan Rogers) stole Jill’s (Jess Walton) life saving and therefore couldn’t meet Mr. Abbott’s exaggerated asking price. Along with Jack’s retail store chain foray, Gloria (Judith Chapman) has replaced Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). That soapy fact is incredible and uproarious.
Gloria volunteered her services as a moll while Jack was attempting to take over Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) family business. Lauren’s daughter-in-law wanted Jabot to take control Fenmore’s for her own selfish reasons. Gloria’s plan involved quid pro quo.
Two silent partners were blocked due, in part, to Gloria’s interference. Jack was then open to buy a majority share in Fenmore’s. However, Lauren out-foxed Jack, who was forced to pay 25 percent more than he initially offered. Most importantly, he was only able to obtain a minority share of the company.
The arrangement between Jabot and Fenmore’s meant that Phyllis had boomeranged back into Jack’s work life. So it was reasonable to believe that ‘Phack’ would reform. Instead, ‘Glack’ sprung to life out of nowhere like the secular Big Bang Theory (no, not the TV show) proposes.
Those who believe in a fairy tale have convinced themselves that suddenly everything came from nothing a long time ago. Does that theory follow the scientific method? Only closed minds would think yes and then hold to that emotional thought impetuously. Along with that logical punch, ‘Glack’ didn’t come into existence without pre-planning either.
Based upon her actions, Gloria didn’t initially plan to become romantically involved with Jack. No, she likely is acting like a person scorned. Person was intentional used in that last sentence because men also hatch revenge plans, not just women.
Gloria is blackmailing Jack due to their supposed activities a few weeks ago. Jack never imagined that Gloria could outwit him, but she has for now. And all Genoa City characters who will be confounded by ‘Glack’s’ existence should follow logic to learn how it initially formed.
