The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, March 31: Nick Wants Paul to Reopen Adam Case – Chloe Rushes To Marry – Sharon and Scott Grow Closer

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, March 31, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will question Victor’s (Eric Braeden) decision to work with Scott (Daniel Hall). At Brash and Sassy, Victor stops by and shares his cowriter news. Victoria worries that Scott will dig too deep and share the ugly side of their family. Victor feels it’s fine and wants Victoria to be truthful during her interview.

Talk turns to Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria states that her sister accused her of sabotage. She doesn’t think Abby has the typical Newman instincts, but Victor brushes it off. Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) tells Sharon (Sharon Case) about his suspicions. Sharon mentions how Dylan (Steve Burton) thought someone may have messed with the propane tank at the cabin.

Nick argues that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) likely caused the blast. Sharon realizes there could be some truth to that. She feels like Paul (Doug Davidson) is Nick’s best bet if he wants to get to the bottom of it. At the police station, Nick wonders if Paul would be willing to reopen the investigation of Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death.

At the design studio, Chloe pressures Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to tie the knot tomorrow. He doesn’t understand the rush, but Chloe insists she wants to be his wife right away. She gets down on one knee and proposes with a ring made of wire. Kevin thinks it’s cute, so he goes along with the idea.

At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) processes the fact that he slept with Juliet (Laur Allen). He seems unsure that they really did the deed. Juliet notes that it happened, but vows to be cool about it. She thinks it was just the result of too much alcohol.

Lily (Christel Khalil) appears and Cane struggles to rush Juliet off. When Lily questions him, Cane blames it on the tough updates he had to provide. Juliet didn’t get the position she wanted. Once Lily exits, Victoria calls Cane and says she’s going to hire Juliet in another role. She’ll be taking on a marketing job in Genoa City.

Cane meets up with Victoria and advises against hiring Juliet. She doesn’t get why he’s changed his tune. Victoria believes there’s something Cane isn’t telling her. At Newman Enterprises, Scott interviews Abby for Victor’s memoir. He ends up turning off his recorder when Abby’s answers seem too tame.

Abby tells Scott a sweet story from her childhood, but shifts gears soon after. She feels like she’s on the outside of both her families. Once Victor shows up, Scott heads out. Victor promises Abby that Victoria isn’t an issue. He thinks Abby should trust her instincts when it comes to business.

Abby appreciates Victor’s comments. He teases her about a potential romance with Scott as she heads into the hall. Abby calls someone and says she’s moving forward with her project. Y&R rumors hint that Abby’s plan could hit a few snags.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Sharon will get emotional after looking at Dylan’s apron. At Crimson Lights, Scott arrives and offers comfort. Sharon opens up about all the loss she’s felt in her life. Scott understands and places his arm around Sharon. He thinks she needs to focus on the people who care about her.
