‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, January 6: Neil Wants Consequences for Hilary – Mariah Learns Shocking Info – Gloria Grills Lauren About Secret

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 6, tease that Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will realize the jig is up. She’s been doing her best to hide the financial problems that Fenmore’s is facing. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is in the loop, but Lauren has managed to downplay everything to Michael (Christian LeBlanc).

Now Gloria (Judith Chapman) is aware of just how hard Fenmore’s is tanking. She’ll confront Lauren and demand to know how long this has been going on. Gloria will also ask who Lauren divulged this secret to. She’ll suspect that Lauren hasn’t let her husband in on the terrible details.

Lauren will admit that she’s stayed tight-lipped around Michael, but she’ll insist she had a good reason. Gloria won’t think there’s any excuse for secrets like this in a marriage. Lauren will argue that she didn’t want to deal with the look of disappointment in Michael’s eyes. She doesn’t want to be seen as a failure.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Gloria will make the most of this secret. She’ll probably enjoy having a bit of power. However, Y&R fans shouldn’t expect Michael to remain oblivious indefinitely. Gloria will continue to put pressure on Lauren and she’ll eventually cave in. Michael will hear the truth soon enough.

In the meantime, Lily (Christel Khalil) will give Mariah (Camryn Grimes) some big news. She’ll provide updates on Devon’s (Bryton James) recovery and mention that he doesn’t recall the gala. Mariah may be relieved when she discovers her dumb stunt is still under wraps. After all the chaos, Mariah might be willing to let Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) deception go.

Of course, Neil (Kristoff St. John) doesn’t believe Hilary should escape the consequences of her actions. He’ll have a tense conversation with Hilary in Friday’s “Young and the Restless” episode. When Hilary hints that this is a fresh start, Neil will point out that she shouldn’t get used to it. He’ll contend that Hilary isn’t going to get away with any of this.
