‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 1: Hilary Makes Surprising Move – Jill Plots Against Lauren, Colin Not Happy – Victoria Shocks Reed

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, February 1, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will gripe about Jill’s (Jess Walton) interference. At Jabot, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) learns that Jill could blow the whole deal. She owns half of Fenmore’s and doesn’t want Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) to sign the contract.

Phyllis suggests it’s because of her connection to Billy (Jason Thompson), which irritates Jack. Nevertheless, he assures Phyllis that he can put his personal issues aside for the sake of the company. Meanwhile, Lauren insists there was a reason she didn’t go to Jill for the money. She didn’t want Fenmore’s to become a subsidiary of Chancellor.

Jill complains, but she’s met with more resistance. Lauren maintains that she’s doing what’s best for Fenmore’s whether Jill likes it or not. Across town, Devon (Bryton James) reminds Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that she has a contract. She’s just surprised he’s allowing her to stay.

Devon states that he’s freed up some money for a cohost and calls Mariah (Camryn Grimes) over. He tells Hilary that she can cover the gossip reports and Mariah will do the feel-good stories. Devon adds that Mariah will be watching out for any red flags. Hilary will need to take her notes.

Mariah and Hilary look over their first script together. They try to be nice for Devon’s sake. Later, Hilary tells Roz about an adjustment she wants to make. She plans a surprise welcome package for Mariah. When Roz gives Devon updates, he grows concerned. The clip rolls of Mariah’s fall and Hilary delivers an on-air apology for causing it.

At Brash and Sassy, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is stunned by the meme Billy (Jason Thompson) shows her. She finds out Zoey (Annalisa Cochrane) was behind it and frets about the buyers’ potential reaction. Billy points out that Victoria should be worried about Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). The teen is hurting and needs Victoria to make this right.

Victoria asks Billy to do something for her before she heads off. Later, Victoria meets up with Reed at Crimson Lights. She says she’s sorry for embarrassing him. Victoria promises to handle things better next time around. She gives Reed concert tickets as a peace offering and he asks her to come along.

At the athletic club, Phyllis talks to Lauren about the current crisis. She suggests that Jill isn’t the only threat to this deal. Phyllis thinks Jack could still have a problem with her, but Lauren offers reassurance.

Later, Jack arrives and Lauren makes it clear that Phyllis’ involvement is a given. Jack gives Lauren the contract and she happily signs. At the Chancellor mansion, Jill grumbles to Colin (Tristan Rogers). He hears the news that Lauren has been keeping Jill in the dark.

Jill wants to go behind Lauren’s back and make Jack a new offer. She’s willing to pay whatever it takes. Colin isn’t sure that’s the best plan. It could take a lot of money and would certainly cause additional tension with Lauren. Jill agrees to think it over and make her decision in the morning.

“The Young and the Restless” fans will be anxious to see what’s in store. Jill is sure to stir up more trouble eventually. That’s what she does best! Y&R rumors hint that Lauren will have to stay on guard. Stick with the CBS soap to watch all the drama.
