The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday May 31: Dr. Harris Declares Chloe Dead – Victor at End of His Rope – Hilary’s Shocking Suggestion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 31, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will give Nick (Joshua Morrow) a lecture. At Newman Enterprises, Victor gripes at Nick for helping Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) search for Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). After they disconnect, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) struts over and figures out what’s up.

Victor and Nikki debate whether Nick was right to assist Chelsea. Nikki thinks it shows Nick has some integrity, but Victor views it as a betrayal. He eventually storms out. Meanwhile, Chelsea freaks as she tries to wake Chloe up at Dr. Harris’ place. Once the doc returns, he asks what Chelsea did. Chelsea contends that Chloe was like this when she walked in.

Dr. Harris can’t find a pulse, so he tells Chelsea that Chloe is gone. While Dr. Harris reports the suicide, Chelsea deals with her emotions and summons Nick. Later, Nick gives Chelsea a hug and calls Victor to pass along the news about Chloe.

Chelsea and Dr. Harris hold each other responsible for Chloe’s desperate move. As their argument winds down, Chelsea says she wants Chloe’s body to be taken to Genoa City. She returns to the hotel with Nick and they go over everything that happened. Chelsea weeps as she struggles with guilt. She just hopes Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chloe are in a better place now.

Back in GC, Victor gives Nikki updates on Chloe’s death. Nikki assumes Victor wants her to talk to Nick and convince him to keep Chelsea out of the loop on their secret. An exasperated Victor shouts that he doesn’t care about any of it anymore. Nothing matters since he’s lost his family. In the morgue, Chloe’s body is under a sheet.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Cane (Daniel Goddard) will push Juliet’s (Laur Allen) buttons. At the athletic club, Juliet feels like Cane was only focused on getting Billy (Jason Thompson) kicked out of Brash and Sassy. She doesn’t think he really tried to save her job. Cane rants about Juliet not performing her duties correctly and hints that maybe she should go back to work in Tokyo.

Lily (Christel Khalil) interrupts their heated confrontation and offers to pull a few strings for Juliet. She could talk to Devon (Bryton James) about getting Juliet a position at his company. Juliet finds out that Cane deleted the footage and shoots him a dirty look. Afterward, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) urges Juliet to file a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Nearby, Dina (Marla Adams) and Jack (Peter Bergman) marvel over the fact that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) arranged a family dinner. Later, the Abbotts gather for an awkward meal. Traci (Beth Maitland), Jack, Ashley, Dina and Abby (Melissa Ordway) all try to get through this uncomfortable time together.

Dina talks about the sibling rivalry between Jack and Ashley. She also brings up when she used to sing to them as kids. Traci and Ashley can’t recall, but Jack says he remembers. Dina starts singing a tune and Jack begins crooning, too. The gang huddles for a selfie and Dina offers her gratitude for the evening.

After Dina departs, Abby tells Jack that she’s going to make a full confession to Victor. She can’t keep lying to him. Meanwhile, Traci suggests that Dina seems like a new woman these days.
