Tessa also left Noah (Robert Adamson) out of the loop on Nikki’s blabbing. She suggests that she deserves some favors for her efforts. Afterward, Nikki and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discuss a developer that wants to do away with Chancellor Park. Condos are in the works, but Nick and Nikki hope to put a stop to all this. When Nick fills Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in, she agrees the park must be saved.

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) tries to get through to Devon (Bryton James). She thinks Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) should tell her version of events on the show. Devon doesn’t think that’s a good idea, so Hilary leaves feeling defeated. Later, Tessa arrives and Devon hints at a damage control strategy.
At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) accidentally walks in on her mom’s love session with Scott (Daniel Hall). He goes upstairs, but leaves his phone behind. When a text comes in, Mariah takes a look and Sharon learns Scott got a job offer in New York. She confronts him, but he insists that it doesn’t matter. Sharon asked Scott to move in, so he has no intention of leaving.
At the TV studio, Devon eventually calls and reveals his change of heart. Tessa can do an interview after all. Mariah’s not happy when she learns she’ll be prepping Tessa. Once Tessa comes in, she tells Mariah that she doesn’t want to talk about the arrest on the show. Tessa just hopes to sing her latest song.
However, Tessa leans in to share to the real story with Mariah. She asks for her help handling Hilary on the air. Later, Hilary nudges Tessa into talking by providing a few details. Tessa spills the story of Crystal’s (Morgan Obenreder) heroic decision to save Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) from sex-ring leader Zack (Ryan Ashton). Her download numbers explode and the profits go to charity.
Once the interview’s over, Tessa scolds Mariah for spilling her secrets. She then learns Devon actually supplied them. Mariah stomps off and seems a bit disheartened during a chat with Sharon at home. Across town, Devon and Hilary share a toast. They’re pleased that things worked out for both of them.
At Newman Enterprises, Abby gripes at Scott when he nitpicks over Tessa’s interview. Their argument leads to some angry chemistry. Scott and Abby nearly lock lips, but ultimately back away. At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) tells Christine (Laralee Bell) that he’s working on a new angle. He notes that it’s a longshot, but he’s hoping it’ll help put Victor away.
Nikki makes her way to the Chancellor mansion to speak with Esther (Kate Linder). She gets sidetracked when she spots Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Nikki complains about Kevin hacking her phone and email accounts. She adds that it happened around the same time Nick’s bank account was drained.

Kevin confesses that Victor makes it tough to turn down his requests. Nikki warns Kevin about stirring up more trouble and assumes Victor must have major dirt on him. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Kevin will have to be careful!
