The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, August 9: Sharon Dangerous Encounter – Dina Gets A Job, Graham Upset – Charlie Blasts Cane

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, August 9, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will reach out to Lily (Christel Khalil). At home, Abby drops by with wine and admits she heard about everything Lily’s dealing with. Lily gets emotional about Cane (Daniel Goddard) fathering another woman’s child. She’s devastated by her circumstances, but Abby insists that she just needs to focus on herself right now.

Meanwhile, Cane sells his car to Zack (Ryan Ashton) and mentions that he’s available to work on the dating app. When Zack meets up with Abby later, she seems curious about his car purchase. Abby hopes Zack will always be honest with her about his life. Nearby, Sharon (Sharon Case) gets another call from Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). She takes her location and promises to come alone.

At the athletic club, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) gets updates on Lily’s decision to throw Cane out. Juliet (Laur Allen) doesn’t seem too angry about getting fired because of Cane. Hilary can’t figure out what’s going on in Juliet’s wacky mind. Afterward, Hilary spots Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and lets him know she’s OK with his need to comfort Lily right now.

In Dina’s (Marla Adams) suite, Jack (Peter Bergman) pushes his mom to work on a project for him at Jabot. Dina doesn’t want Jack’s pity, but he contends that she’s not a charity case. Later, Graham (Max Shippee) privately advises against the idea. He doesn’t seem to think Dina is up to it, but she thinks a little position like this will be fine.

Elsewhere, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) lashes out at Cane for what he did to Lily. He finds Juliet later and makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Back with Jordan and Juliet, they clash over the commercial shoot. When Hilary asks Jordan to come with her, he feels like she just wants him out of Lily’s orbit.

At the recording studio, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) considers backing out of the session. She’s nervous as she tries to sing. Tessa keeps checking her phone nervously, but Devon (Bryton James) eventually puts it aside. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) seems concerned as Noah (Robert Adamson) tries to settle Tessa down.

The rest of the recording session still doesn’t go well. When she’s done, Tessa notices she has a couple of missed calls. At a motel, Sharon shows up to help Crystal. A big thug comes in and demands to know who Sharon is. She claims she’s the client’s wife and argues that they were hoping for a threesome. Sharon attempts to back up her story, but the thug just drags Crystal away.

Lily checks on the twins’ tuition situation and realizes Cane already paid. She calls him and hears the news that he sold his vehicle. Lily tells Cane goodnight and hangs up. Across town, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) supports Ashley (Eileen Davidson) as she mulls over her Dina dilemma. They also make plans to visit the Abbott cabin together.

Once Jack reveals that Dina agreed to work for Jabot, Ashley expresses some trepidation. She just hopes everything will work out.
