Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) knows what Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) did on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But the ‘Grande Dame’s’ place in Heaven will prevent her from intervening in the drama surrounding Miss Mitchell and Kevin (Greg Rikaart), as Father Todd Williams (Corbin Bernsen) returns to Genoa City for their nuptials.

It’s a nice touch to schedule ‘Khloe’s’ third ring ceremony in the Chancellor mansion. Fitting that this likeable, but troubled pair would be married by the real life son of the late, infinitely great and sorely missed Cooper. Of course Katherine received internet approval and tied one of their two knots in what now seems like a lifetime ago. So honoring her role in their lives makes sense.

That aspect of her unbalanced mind is completely troubling. Chloe remains a danger to everyone and to herself because she hasn’t properly dealt with the past.
The death of Delia (Sophie Pollono) would wreck any soul. But consider Billy (Jason Thompson). Yes, he’s made mistakes since that fateful October 2013 night, and has been seen wearing four different faces as well. Since that time Billy has dealt with his rage. Chloe never confronted her inner demons, but she’ll be forced to this week.
Father Williams will return to Genoa City and prepare to marry ‘Khloe’ by week’s end. But his plans will be dashed by his brother’s (Paul, Doug Davidson) unexpected reopening of the Adam Newman case, along with the fallout that surrounds the coming climax to this extended arc.
