The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wed, August 23: Victor Plans to Influence Faith – Dumped Hilary Offers Jordan a Warning – Cane Faces a Shocker

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, August 23, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) will clash once again. At the ranch, Nikki pops in and says she has a few more belongings to gather. Victor and Nikki quickly get into an argument about their kids. After discussing Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) name comes up.

Nikki bickers with Victor about Nick being thrown out of the tack house. She hints that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) may turn against her grandfather if he’s not careful. Once Nikki’s gone, Victor makes a call and arranges to see Faith at camp.

At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) learns Faith is coming home tomorrow. She thinks it’d be best for Sharon (Sharon Case) to take Faith first. While Chelsea and Nick discuss the matter, Nikki shows up with concerns. She fears Faith will get caught in the Newman conflict, but Nick refuses to sugarcoat his Victor’s actions. He intends to tell Faith all about her grandfather’s behavior.

Abbott Flashbacks Set to Reveal Why Dina Abandoned Her Family

At the pool bar, Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Lily (Christel Khalil) share news with each other. Lily will have plenty of work to do this fall, which should be great for her family’s finances. Neil also reveals that he’s investing in Brash and Sassy’s new campaign. Talk turns to Cane (Daniel Goddard) and his desire to repair the damage. Neil warns that Lily needs to think this through before she makes her choice.

In the athletic club’s dining room, Juliet (Laur Allen) updates Cane on their baby’s heath. She has a lab report that suggests their child might have cystic fibrosis. The baby has a genetic marker for it, but they need to get bloodwork done to confirm anything.

Cane goes off with Juliet to give blood and they return later. After Cane offers reassurance, he embraces Juliet as Lily walks in. Lily acts uncomfortable with the encounter, but Cane promises that he just wants his marriage back.

In Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) suite, she tries her best to turn Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) on. She strips down and brings up the idea of a nude photoshoot, but Jordan isn’t interested. He wants to end their relationship, so Hilary assumes it’s because he wants Lily. Hilary notes that Jordan’s going to get his heart broken. Jordan eventually meets up with Lily, who’s grateful for all his support.

Hilary runs into Cane later and they face off. She drops a hint about Jordan and Lily’s connection. Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) discuss Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). When Tessa shares her concerns, Mariah gives her a pep talk. After Mariah heads out, Tessa gets a text. Crystal needs her help at the motel right away.

At the police station, Sharon spots two alleged hookers being processed. A man comes in and bails them out. Sharon snaps a pic and texts it to Scott (Daniel Goddard) before chasing after the three of them. As they get into a car, Sharon takes more pictures in the distance.
