Vickie (Amelia Heinle) is her father’s daughter on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She senses that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is vulnerable and has made a move for Billy (Jason Thompson).
Phyllis is in serious danger of losing her hold on Billy for a number of reasons. First among them is Billy’s existent love for Victoria. As fans recall, Phyllis wasn’t his first choice and she has never supplanted Vickie in his soul.
Y&R Star Jason Thompson News And Updates
Heinle’s character believes that Phyllis is behind Jabot’s (Peter Bergman) attempt to attack Brash and Sassy, or at least that’s what she’s projecting. Savvy viewers are onto Vickie’s real game. They know that she sees ‘Smilin’ Jack’ as the puppeteer and Phyllis as his Muppet. This scribe will rely on the experience of readers to determine which Muppet Phyllis most resembles in Jack’s hand.
Jack wants Phyllis’ personal world to crumble. He’s been using her for months, as his underlying vicious feelings have been rumbling unabated. Jack will be deviously delighted to learn of the tension that’s building in Phyllis’ sleek condominium (that’s actually Summer’s, Hunter King).
In the meantime, here’s Vickie’s ploy – She’s trying to pit Phyllis and Billy against each other, while at the same time offering him her love. Vickie stood in Brash and Sassy’s main office, well, it’s the only office, and told Billy that he was amazing. Then, she kissed him. Both gestures were significant.
‘Philly’s’ emerging arguments will only be expanded by the revelation that Billy used Phyllis’ laptop to gain access to Jabot’s server by using the username he stole from Dina (Marla Adams). Yes, that last sentence was a bit convoluted, but we are merely addressing the storyline that’s been presented. Wink.
Like Victor, Vickie has bided her time. She’s looking to buy low. In this instance that means Vickie is engineering a price drop, or collapse in Phyllis’ stock. Billy will look to sell and transfer his emotions to a better longterm investment. Yes, business philosophy can be applied to love, at least in the Newman world.
