The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Becomes Jack’s Foe Instead of Victor – Brash and Sassy Overtakes Jabot?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will follow in her father’s footsteps as she begins to battle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Brash and Sassy just finalized an exclusive contract with Sato-san (Richard Narita), who heads a major corporation in the Asian region. That deal will help to ignite an all-out war with Jabot, but this time Victor won’t be leading the charge against Jackie-boy.

Recent history saw Billy (Jason Thompson) initially acquire Jabot, only to lose it to his mother. Jill (Jess Walton) created a mostly dysfunctional three-headed monster when she installed Vickie, Billy and Cane (Daniel Goddard) as equal heads of her cosmetics company.

Jill’s impulse buy behavior caused her to want to sell Brash and Sassy to her hand-picked trio in equal one-third shares. But Victor told Vickie to go for it all and buy the entire company. After doing so Vickie quickly implemented an aggressive business strategy.

While Cane has veered way off course in recent months for various reasons and almost blew the deal with Sato-san. Juliet (Laur Allen) stabilized the negotiation and then rescued it after Cane’s strange bro-hug of Narita’s character. In the old days viewers would wonder if Juliet was Victor’s plant and pawn. While that could always prove true, it appears that she’s purely someone who’s committed to advancing her career.

Jack’s main focus has been business, until recently. In one of the most unexpected, hilarious and glorious pairings in recent Y&R history, Gloria (Judith Chapman) has seduced Jack. Gloworm is playing the role of concubine in what might be a revenge plot, or an actual attempt at romance.

The sheer boldness of Sally Sussman’s writing staff is laudable. Glack’s creation is outrageously engaging and seems destined to torpedo Jack’s latest reign at the head of Jabot. It’s presence also appears to be allowing Brash and Sassy to conquer market share while Gloria is massaging Jack’s neck and meeting him in clandestine places.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) confronted Jack on multiple occasions about the oddness of him hiring their dad’s two-time bride. She’s also put her brother on notice. Ashley told him that she wouldn’t allow his erratic behavior to damage their family company yet again.

However, Ashley is considering starting a workplace relationship of her own with Ravi (Abhi Sinha). So, like Jack she might not be on her game as Vickie continues to take territory.

While she’s battled personal issues through the years, among his children Victor’s first-born daughter has the most consistent business mind. Jack might think he doesn’t have to deal with Victor because Abby (Melissa Ordway) has been sitting in his CEO’s chair. But by making that assumption Jack has once again left himself open to a Newman attack, albeit this time from Victoria.
