The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria and Billy Continue to Dance – Villy Reunion Possible

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) continue their dance on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The former couple continues to move toward each other as Jill (Jess Walton) intended. While not certain, this edition of ‘Villy’ is growing organically in what appears to be a deeper direction.

This super couple hasn’t been so super through the years. And space, or no space between the words of that term? Oh what an important dilemma to solve. Dilemmas surely injected themselves into Vickie’s world on many occasions as she’s been linked to the four faces of Billy since January 2014 when Billy Miller exited the cast.

Heinle’s efforts in working with the four adult actors who portrayed William Abbott (Miller, David Tom, Burgess Jenkins and Thompson) are to be lauded. Imagine what it would be like to work closely with four different people on a two-man?, two-person?, two-being? job in any line of work within two years. Thought police sirens are heard. Quick, run toward the next paragraph in order to avoid incarceration.

Thompson’s version of Billy, post-‘Philly’ is increasingly warm-hearted. He’s actually been very helpful with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), remains a thoughtful dad to ‘Villy’s’ two children and is fully supportive at Brash and Sassy. All factors have combined to affect Vickie’s perceptions and surely, her heart.

Digital flash mob whims seem to be sweeping away references to so-called ‘super couples’. So that term has either become passe, or was arrested by self-appointed members of the thought police, self-anointed as enlightened. Possibly that last sentence itself will be questioned as somehow out of order?

Meanwhile, all light-hearted soap fans got the joke and are delighted. The vast majority of all soap opera fans root for conflict resolution, not conflict itself. Open minds believe that only Vickie and Billy know if they truly are soul mates. If that’s the case, they will be together again. Yes, human traditions matter and are never toppled by old-fashioned personality types who project themselves as other than that.
