Victor’s (Eric Braeden) love for his family on ‘The Young and the Restless’ has never been in question. Most people who know the most famous man in Genoa City also don’t deny his manipulative tactics. That’s why Noah’s (Robert Adamson) decision to accept his grandfather’s help in securing a liquor license opened a questionable door.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t have the type of bought and paid for connections Victor does. Though the ‘Moustache’ would dispute his estranged son’s description of those business ties. That’s all the more reason why Noah’s choice to trust Victor appears to be very ill-advised.

Tenured fans know that Victor may well have blocked The Underground’s attempts at getting a liquor license so that he could ride in on one of his many horses and save the day. Well, John Wayne he ain’t.
One admirable trait that Victor possesses is that he never truly gives up on the Newman clan. He believes that many people in his created club wronged him on various occasions. Some of those instances, if researched, would reveal that the head of Newman Enterprises is right. As for the many other instances, Nick, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Adam (most recently played by Justin Hartley), Abby (Melissa Ordway), Noah and some other clan members weren’t the assailants Victor claimed them to be.
The current dispute between Victor and Nick is real. Both men have attacked each other viciously. That’s why viewers must be wondering how, not if Victor’s seeming peace offering to Noah factors into some type of overall revenge scheme.
Victor has openly acknowledged that he wants to hurt Nick. No change of heart has been expressed, which leads Y&R fans to think that something big is brewing.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Nick somehow forced out of his own company. Victor would likely save Noah, while allowing Nick to sink. Pitting Noah and his dad against each other seems like the type of tact Victor would, or is, taking.
