The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Lets Khloe Go – Black Knight Has Heart

Yes, Victor (Eric Braeden) served his personal interest on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But sharp eyes also saw the ‘Black Knight’s’ dark eyes embrace Bella (Gia Poeme). Yes, he does have a heart after all and it directed him to let ‘Khloe’ go.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was distracted by love. He used his credit card, which is how Victor located the Fisher family at a motel on the outskirts of Genoa City. But the ‘Moustache’ didn’t prove to be Kevin’s “worst nightmare”, as Victor uttered through the motel room door after impatiently knocking.

The idea was to bolt to Portland with Bella and Helen Jones, which is the new identity Kevin created for Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Their escape hatch appeared to be wide open, but Dr. Harris’ (Ron Melendez) call to Victor interfered with ‘Khloe’s’ happily after all plans.

Harris proved to be quite the character, as he was more damaged than the patient Victor paid him to release early. Melendez’ daytime film noir performance might not earn him an Emmy, but was effective. His poor soul persona saw his deceased daughter in Chloe, which Victor realized for the first time when the Louisiana-based doc spoke to him via phone.

The loss of Rikaart and Hendrickson is felt by devoted Y&R fans. Both actor’s tenures dated back to the last decade, with Rikaart holding ranking status.

At their worst, Kevin and Chloe wreaked havoc and brought grief into the lives of their family members and friends. Their disordered minds repeatedly fed off each other. But love could still be seen amidst the chaos they caused.

Kevin came into his own when Chloe was with Dr. Harris. The former infamous chipmunk wasn’t able to pull his soul mate through the epic ‘Delia (Sophie Pollono) Dies’ storyline. But Kevin rescued Chloe’s soul this time.

That act, along with the feel-good biological link that now exists between Kevin and Chloe, whose name is Bella, gives ‘Khloe’ a chance to make it out west. And someday, viewers hope, they’ll all return again.
