The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Hasn’t Changed – Nikki Must Expose the Moustache

There has been, is and will only ever be one person who can bring down the supposedly great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That would be the actually great Nikki Reed Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). But will she bring herself to actually expose the ‘Moustache’ once and for all?

Victor claimed he had changed. He semi-retired from Newman Enterprises and hosted a series of family dinners at the Ranch. He was treating Nikki like a queen once again.

Then Nick (Joshua Morrow) learned the truth. His father was linked to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who admitted to having murdered Adam (Justin Hartley).

With that forced admission Victor’s phony front was dropped. He tried to justify his actions, play the victim and ask for forgiveness for the umpteenth time in his life. But Nikki wouldn’t give in.

Mrs. Victor Newman, a title she can no longer fully digest, kicked her husband to the guest house. She convinced her children to keep quiet about what had been learned.

Nikki’s working theory projected the entire Newman clan going down if the world became aware of what Victor did in this instance. She saw the family business being damaged by a torrent of bad press and social media scorn. The result would bludgeon their individual and collective lives.

However, after being manipulated by the lout to perform at a charity concert in front of many members of Haughty Town it’s become possible that Nikki has finally reached her limit. She’s had enough, regardless of whatever personal consequences may come.

Nick and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) have enough money in Swiss bank accounts to protect themselves and their families for years to come. As for herself, Nikki will survive. She could always rekindle Jack’s (Peter Bergman) flame, which would give her someone to be with and put a finger in Victor’s evil eye.

But the question remains. Will Nikki do what she knows she must, now, once and for all? It’s long past time for Victor to be dealt with, permanently. Nikki possesses the deepest capacity to actually and finally bring him down.
