The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Happens By Chancellor Park – Kevin Foolishly Prepares For Trip In Public

The idea that Victor (Eric Braeden) would happen by Chancellor Park on ‘The Young and the Restless’ was a stretch. But this is soap, so devoted Y&R’s viewers accept the terms of this entertainment arrangement. And Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) foolish public display also served to play into the ‘Black Knight’s’ hands.

Viewers could tell that Victor knew something was suspicious. He doesn’t trust Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and certainly must have considered if she’d reach out to Kevin when the ‘nuclear option’ was employed.

Let’s address that ‘nuclear option’ head on. It is somewhat plausible that the head of a multinational corporation would be walking through a park that is located close to his corporate palace.

Visual introductions that were added by Y&R during the past few years provide geographic evidence that Chancellor Park is within walking distance of Newman Towers. But the idea that Victor is orchestrating another wild scheme is outrageous, even if it is also delicious.

Fans who don’t take themselves too seriously weren’t offended by Chloe’s hand pushing open her casket the other day. Daytime drama has long been projected as supernatural. Therefore outlandish things do happen. One also isn’t tagged as an entertainment snob if disagreement exists on this point either. All soap fans are wise to be friends.

What has been established by the manner in which this part of the plot has been written is that Victor will be rightfully able to suspect Kevin when Chloe disappears. Chloe has proven to be a worthy foil for the ‘Moustache’ during the past few years. She’s outsmarted him on a number of occasions, which is impressive.

Chloe’s latest ploy is to have Kevin rescue her from Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez). This scribe does feel it’s a questionable choice to have Kevin and Chloe pursue another adventure in this manner. However, he’s also willing to see how their plans play out.

The modern digital age isn’t ideal. Impulse opinions are encouraged, which leaves the self-appointed, all-knowing shouter no room to be wrong. At the same time, Kevin can use GPS to scout out Chloe’s intended hidden location.
