The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Cuts Nick Loose – Holds Christian Card With His Grudge

Victor (Eric Braeden) advised Nick (Joshua Morrow) twice within 24 hours that he was no longer his son on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Similar lines of dialogue have been spit at this first-born son in the past. But this time the ‘Moustache’ holds a destructive card along with his grudge.

Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) isn’t Nick’s biological son, though Adam’s (Justin Hartley) brother doesn’t know that. Victor and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have been aware of this fact for awhile, but didn’t tell Nick for reasons that involve compassion.

Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) death made Nick a widow. The realization that Christian was Adam’s child was something that ‘Chadam’ discussed, but decided to withhold from Nick in order to not add to his pain.

They believed that telling him that a boy who was once believed dead wasn’t actually his son would have been too cruel.

Later, when Adam was believed to have died and Sully was confirmed as having been Christian all along, Chelsea ran to Victor. He advised her to remain mum about Adam’s paternity. Mrs. Newman has done that, as has Victor.

However, Nick’s failed attempt to stop Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) piano performance changes considerations. Money for Multiple Sclerosis and awareness was raised, but so has Victor’s ire. Victor’s calculations regarding his discarded son have been dramatically altered by his current emotional state.

Victor wants to make his son pay for both real and perceived wrongs. The last time the ‘Black Knight’ was thinking along these lines he had Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) released from a mental hospital so she could help him frame Adam.

Viewers are likely wondering if Nick should be afraid, or if his ego makes him think he’s invincible like this father. In either instance, his father is a seemingly unstoppable opponent.

It’s more likely than ever, or maybe inevitable that Victor will divulge what he knows about Christian’s biology. He’ll probably wait until maximum pain can be inflicted before he strikes.
